In the meantime, she's extremely attracted to him and he isn't taking his time turning that to his advantage.
Jane's Warlord is a sexy, thrilling book, with a plot to die for. Action, suspense and romance blend into a thoroughly readable mix that I recommend you don't miss. If you haven't read this one yet and you enjoy science fiction, it needs to be on your list!
Warfem is a novella length story about Alina and Baird, former lovers separated by a vicious aristocrat and a secret Alina has borne for nearly twenty years. They meet again, apparently by accident, and Alina can't resist having Baird again for a lover even for a short while. This story was a heartfelt tale. I don't usually like reunion stories but I loved this one.
The remaining two short stories in Warlord were hot reads meant to titillate. They did!
I'm glad I got this one instead of the stand-alone novel Jane's Warlord. Once I was in this universe, I enjoyed the extended stay!
