Hostages and Hostage Situations
I've never been that fond of hostage stories—probably because I read a very disturbing book when I was a preteen that had elements of romance but in the end turned out badly for the lead female character (It's amazing what qualifies as literature in the Junior High School libraries then and now...).
There are authors who do it well, I'm sure, but I'm making no promises about the books here, because I probably haven't read them!
